My Current Obsession: Berkeley Zip Bag from Boden

Hello, everyone!

If you’ve been following the blog at all, you know that I love leopard print. I have several items of clothing that are leopard print (see here, here, here, and here), and let’s not forget my leopard print pumps (here, here, and here) and clutch (here and here). Needless to say, when I saw Boden’s Berkeley Zip Bag in black/tan leopard (also comes in grey/snow leopard), I was immediately obsessed. I love the size of this bag, the size zip pockets, and the leopard panel on the front. I think if it were all leopard print it might be too much, but the front panel is just enough visual interest and fun. The only downside to this bag is the price: $238. I love this bag, but I’m not willing to spend that much on it, so I’ll definitely be checking the site regularly to see if it goes on sale.

My Current Obsession: Self-Portrait

Hello, everyone!

I am obsessed with the Self-Portrait brand. It’s been around since only 2013, but it already has some A-list fans, including the lovely Rachel McAdams. So many of the styles are a great combination of feminine and edgy. Some of my favorite dresses are below, and I especially love the red one (of course). The price range of these dresses is more than I’m willing to pay though, so I’ll have to admire these pieces from my computer screen.

My Current Obsession: Lace-up Sandals

Hello, everyone!

I’ll be the first to admit that my sandal game is pretty sad. I have two or three pairs that I wear pretty frequently (a nude/neutral pair and a silver pair), and that’s about it. I know the tall gladiator sandals are a big thing for some people, but I don’t love the look, and the ones that have buckles up the entire shoe seem too complicated and time consuming to put on. Seriously, if I have to fasten a dozen buckles whenever I want to put my shoes on, it’s just too much work. An alternative is a lace-up sandal. I’m obsessed with the first pair here, but they’re sold out in most sizes at the moment, so I’ve included some other similar options. I thinks sandals like these would be so cute with this cute cold shoulder dress. If you see that outfit soon here on Pumps and Polka Dots, don’t be surprised!
