I’ve been on the lookout for a floral midi skirt for a few months, but it’s taken me awhile to find exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a full skirt with a bold print, and I wanted it to be affordable. I’ve really liked some Milly or Ted Baker pieces I’ve seen, but they don’t fit into this gal’s budget.
This watercolor floral print skirt from Chic Wish fulfilled all of my requirements. It’s made of a scuba-type material, which helps the shape stay full, the big flowers are so pretty, and it’s less than $50! I kept the look classic with a basic white button-up shirt and a black purse and shoes, but I wanted it to keep it a bit modern too. This double pearl necklace is the perfect final piece: classic pearls but with a modern twist.
If you’ve never shopped at Chic Wish before, I want to mention that their sizes seem to run a bit small. I went a size up (to a medium) from what I would normally order (a small). Check their size guidelines before you order.
