Outfit Inspiration: Invaluable.com

Hello, everyone!

I’ve got a fun post for the blog today. I recently discovered invaluable.com, “the world’s largest online auction marketplace of fine and decorative arts, antiques, collectibles, and estate sales,” and saw  this gorgeous diamond, sapphire, and platinum Art Deco ring below while browsing the site last week. I’m a sucker for anything Art Deco and thought it would be fun to put together an outfit inspired by this beautiful piece of jewelry.

A New Year’s celebration is a great chance to have fun with metallics, so I decided I wanted to go with silver for this outfit. Because of the sapphires in the ring, I paired my silver and gray pieces with navy. Navy is a nice alternative to black, which definitely has its place in every girl’s closet, but it’s fun to go with something a bit different. This tank top from Express has a great Art Deco pattern, and because I don’t live in a part of the country that’s warm in December and January, I wanted to find a jacket too. I didn’t want to go with one of my regular wool coats and instead wanted something a bit more fun. I stumbled across this faux fur cropped jacket at Forever 21, which adds some texture.

I’m so happy with this outfit and love the inspiration ring. If you’re interested in finding some gorgeous, unique pieces, be sure to check out Invaluable’s ring selection.
