This post is late for this week. Eeeeek! I started teaching Pure Barre a few weeks ago and am trying to adjust to having a teaching schedule in addition to my full-time job. I’ll do my best to stick to blogging, but my posting schedule might not be regular over the next few weeks.
It’s been chillier the past few days, so I’m pulling out all my sweaters. I bought this sweater vest several months ago and am glad that I’m finally able to wear it. It’s such a cute and easy topper to throw on to add an extra layer and pattern. I decided to wear it as part of a casual outfit here, but I think it would work great paired with skinny pants to wear to work. I might also trying belting it to see how that looks.

It was such a nice day yesterday, and today is supposed to be in the mid-70s again. It has been cool in the mornings though, so wearing a dress without a jacket or sweater really isn’t an option anymore. This cargo jacket is a great topper for cooler mornings. The color is much more versatile than I thought it would be when I bought it, and I find that I reach for it almost as much as I reach for my denim jacket these days.

I took these pictures several weeks ago, and I’m so excited that nearly all the snow you see here has melted! It’s been so nice the past few days, and the sun is out today. Spring is well on its way, and I’m thrilled to say goodbye to another winter.
Even though it has been nice this week, there is still a bit of the chill in the air. On days like this, a cozy cardigan is a great option to throw on as you’re running out the door. I bought this Southwestern print one from Forever21 a few months ago and have gotten a lot of wear out of it. I’m not big on Southwestern prints, but I like this one, and Forever21 has such great prices on trendy items that you most likely won’t keep in your closet for years and years.
Sadly, I didn’t realize how faded these jeans were until I saw these pictures. They really are supposed to be black, but they look like they’re more of a dark gray now. I wonder if I can dye them with fabric dye to make them darker. Has anyone tried that? I’m also considering distressing them to give them a different look. If I do, I’ll be sure to do a DIY post so you can see how things go!
