I snagged this dress when Piperlime closed earlier this year, and I’m so glad I did. I love the rich camel color, and the fit-and-flare silhouette is my favorite. I was a bit wary of buying it because all of Piperlime’s inventory was final sale at the time, but I’ve been really happy with this dress and have worn it several times. It pairs perfectly with a white button-up shirt underneath and my leopard print pumps for a work-appropriate look.

If you’ve been following the blog at all, you know that I love leopard print. I have several items of clothing that are leopard print (see here, here, here, and here), and let’s not forget my leopard print pumps (here, here, and here) and clutch (here and here). Needless to say, when I saw Boden’s Berkeley Zip Bag in black/tan leopard (also comes in grey/snow leopard), I was immediately obsessed. I love the size of this bag, the size zip pockets, and the leopard panel on the front. I think if it were all leopard print it might be too much, but the front panel is just enough visual interest and fun. The only downside to this bag is the price: $238. I love this bag, but I’m not willing to spend that much on it, so I’ll definitely be checking the site regularly to see if it goes on sale.
I’m a bit late on my first post for this week. My parents were in town visiting over the weekend, so we were running around a lot, which meant that blogging didn’t happen. It was a great weekend, but I’m a bit beat and am already looking forward to the long weekend coming up.
I saw this jacket at Ann Taylor when it was first in stores and absolutely loved it, but the price was a bit more than I wanted to spend. Ann Taylor has great sales, so I waited until there was a deal for 40 percent off a purchase and snatched it up. The fabric has a bit of a sheen to it, and it’s such a lovely statement piece. I wore this outfit to work a few weeks ago when the weather was still a bit cool and decided to keep all the other pieces of the outfit neutral. It’s such a chic look, and I know I’ll be able to get a lot of wear out of this jacket.
